The 4th Annual Gahr Security Council Conference will take place on Saturday, March 21st, 2015.

7:45 – 8:45 am Registration

8:45 – Advanced Session 1

9:00 – Novice Session 1

11:30 – 12:15 Lunch A (Advanced)

11:45 – 12:30 Lunch B (Novice 1-4)

12:00 – 12:45 Lunch C (Novice 5-7)

3:15 – Committee Ends

3:30 – 4:00 pm Awards

The Gahr Security Council Conference will take place March 21st, 2015.

This is a dual-delegate conference with both Novice and Advanced committees. We offer quality college chairs, gavels for Advanced committees, and Delegation Awards for distinguished school performance.

Despite the fact that the Advanced topic is Open Agenda, we suggest that Advanced Delegates focus their attention on the following topics.

     Islamic State (ISIS)

     Boko Haram

     Situation in South Sudan

     Situation in Central African Republic

     North Korea and Non Proliferation

Position Paper Format:

Position Papers are required for Novice delegates only.  The Gahr Security Council Conference is a dual delegate conference.  Each Novice country will submit ONE (1) position paper on behalf of the two (2) students.  Position Papers are due 11:59:59 pm on Wednesday, March 11th.  Submit position papers to  Please follow all directions on the position paper format.
